Cable Entry Adapter for 8/20-Way Terminal Blocks 

The cable entry adapter is a mechanical accessory integrated into the FS 831/123 terminal box system.

Manufactured in compliance with unified drawing 866 - 46/16, this component is specifically designed

to perform three essential functions:

• Cable clamping and sealing: mounted at the base of the box to safely guide the entry of multipolar

         signaling cables originating from the trackside area or control cabin.

• Volumetric adaptation: reduces the standard entry opening of the box to perfectly fit the smaller

         cable bundle typical of 8 and 20-way terminal blocks.

• Mechanical anchoring: prevents accidental strain or vibrations (caused by passing trains and

         transmitted through the ground or ballast) from transferring directly to the individual electrical

         terminals, eliminating the risk of disconnections and faulty contacts.
