Product Description
The FS 831/187 cover represents the initial tier within the modular enclosure system designed for vertical

cable distribution and junction boxes of Rete Ferroviaria Italiana (RFI). Manufactured from high-resistance

semi-expanded polycarbonate, this component features a lock and is specifically engineered to close and

seal junction boxes configured to accommodate 1 or 2 internal terminal blocks.

Use and Application
It is directly utilized during the installation and maintenance operations of railway Signaling and

Safety Systems. It is mounted onto the frame of the vertical junction box to shield the electrical

connections and terminal blocks dedicated to track circuits, light signals, and lineside yard equipment.
