Railway Terminal Block FS 825/255 with Protective Cover

The FS 825/255 Terminal Block is a fundamental standardized component for the technological infrastructure of the Italian
Railway Network (RFI). The product is specifically approved for use in Signalling and Safety Systems (IS Systems) and is
manufactured from self-extinguishing green Polycarbonate (PC) with high thermal and dielectric resistance.

•  Geometric Configuration: 12-pin architecture featuring a 16 mm pitch interaxis. The pluggable/disconnectable design
ensures fast and easy coupling, uncoupling, and wiring reconfiguration.

•  Primary Electrical Function: Provides a structured, stable, and secure electrical connection for signalling cable terminations.
It enables safe circuit disconnection and isolation of line cables during maintenance operations or fault-finding procedures.

•  Protection Upgrade: As a recent enhancement to optimize safety, the device has been equipped with an additional
transparent protective cover made of PC (part number PLA.22.255.284.A). This solution prevents accidental contact
while ensuring immediate visual inspection of the wiring connections.

•  Safety Systems Integration: Works in direct coupling with power supply and data transmission circuits for vital wayside
equipment, such as 1st and 2nd category signals, point machines (switch machines), track treadles, and
terminal boxes for Track Circuits (CdB).
