Railway Terminal Block FS 825/260 (Model 260)

The FS 825/260 Terminal Block (Technical Drawing 872-02/E) is a high-security standardized interconnection component,
specifically approved for use in Signalling and Safety Systems (IS Systems) across the unified railway network.

•  Plate and Counter-Plate Architecture: The load-bearing structure consists of a plate and a counter-plate manufactured from
black Polyphenylene Oxide reinforced with 20% fiberglass (PPO + 20% G.F.). This special combination ensures exceptional
dielectric properties, dimensional stability, and total resistance to mechanical stress and operational vibrations.

•  20-Terminal Configuration: The unit features an internal layout of 20 symmetrical terminals. Conductive metallic parts
(Plate and Pressure-Plate Clamping system, connection pins, nuts, and threaded washers) are made of nickel-plated
OT 58 brass, while the elastic locking washers are made of nickel-plated C 72 steel to prevent conductor loosening under vibration.

•  System Application and Safety: It is ideally suited for use inside distribution panels, relay rooms, and trackside technological buildings
for the termination, continuity, and selective disconnection of vital signalling circuits. The design of this module, featuring integrated plastic
barriers, ensures electrical isolation between adjacent terminals, eliminating short-circuit risks during maintenance activities.
